Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Blasi in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to AL TOKE FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Joaquin Luken hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, David Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot. AL TOKE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Gaizkine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the AL TOKE FC defense, Leonides Tajo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Gilabert. The AL TOKE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Gilabert should have stopped the shot. If Higinio Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Bienvenido Largacha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Gilabert came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rafaela FC's Bienvenido Largacha. But to his dismay, Bienvenido Largacha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Denis Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Ikatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31stth minute of the game Higinio Dolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AL TOKE FC's Denis Gilabert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Bienvenido Largacha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Evelio Blasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Veronica. Rafaela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Blasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Evelio Blasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind AL TOKE FC's goalkeeper Denis Gilabert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Rafaela FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

AL TOKE FC's Jonatan Reyes was substituted for Evelio Blasi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Gaizkine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Esteban Ikatz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Gilabert. The goal made the score 1-3. 58 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bienvenido Largacha came free, but Denis Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bienvenido Largacha in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute David Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, David Gaizkine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Inocencio Veronica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AL TOKE FC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Rafaela FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ture Dybro took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Joaquin Luken managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Denis Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Gaizkine in the 79th minute of the match. David Gaizkine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Veronica having to make a save. Rafaela FC made a substitution. Octavio Gonzo replaced Bienvenido Largacha. Octavio Gonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Denis Gilabert made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Dolfo in the 89th minute of play forced AL TOKE FC's goalkeeper Denis Gilabert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Boris Pichon fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AL TOKE FC's protests and gave Boris Pichon a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Gonzo in the 95th minute of the match. Octavio Gonzo took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Gilabert. Denis Gilabert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The AL TOKE FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rafaela FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
