In the 4thth minute of the game Yan Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Macedo came free, but Emmanuel Canturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Borges. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute Tolgahan Onatkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fabrício Vergílio hit a great ball. A hard shot by Rodriguinho Duarte from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Amauri Félix's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Emmanuel Canturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 24th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marcos Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Siqueira couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Yan Schmidt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amauri Félix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Emmanuel Canturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolgahan Onatkan in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Macedo came free, but Emmanuel Canturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique Borges came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amauri Félix could save by the left post. After 41 minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Siqueira who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yan Schmidt during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emmanuel Canturri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ reached it. In the 43rd match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Schmidt in the 44th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Recep Talha Keskin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ and the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Recep Talha Keskin. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yan Schmidt was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marcos Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Rodriguinho Duarte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amauri Félix skillfully saved the ball. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Luís Fabiano Sena replaced Yan Schmidt. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Baltazar Glerfoss was substituted for Henrique Borges. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Fabrício Vergílio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Emmanuel Canturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Glerfoss in the 73rd minute of play. If Baltazar Glerfoss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Luís Fabiano Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amauri Félix was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Glerfoss, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 86 minutes of play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Luís Fabiano Sena made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amauri Félix was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
