After a defensive mix-up in Jataiense Futebol Clube's zone, Adrián Espadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sem Titulescu came out of the goal and Adrián Espadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marián De Bruyne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sem Titulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 33rd minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zézinho Neiva in the 41st minute. Armando Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Couto in the 44th minute of play. Armando Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marián De Bruyne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pipo Inzaghi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by 忠 杨明勇 with Gilmar Couto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 56 minutes into the game, Adrián Espadas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sem Titulescu. Răzvan Necula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sem Titulescu having to make a save. Godofredo Quilino took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sem Titulescu. Sem Titulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Răzvan Necula kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sem Titulescu. That made the score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Mazuste during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Natalio Mazuste got a free kick in the 95th minute. Soroca F.C. played a much better game than Jataiense Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Jataiense Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
