Paul Bogrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Jaizki in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Bucare EFD's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Jaizki came free, but Paul Bogrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Pozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eladio Ruidiaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Pozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Carlsson in the 21st minute of play. Anibal Ederono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Paul Bogrea made a huge save. Bucare EFD's Paul Bogrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Gitano in the 30th minute of play. Mariano Pozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Huysmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bucare EFD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Carlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Gitano was the one to do the kick off. Paul Bogrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Ederono in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Gitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Bogrea was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Pech Jam FC's Mariano Pozo got control of the ball when Eladio Ruidiaz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
