Spectators: 514 (Terracing: 386, Seating: 118, VIP seats: 10) Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Hermosillo FC from getting a goal against them. Eloy Su kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txema Cerbera got free with Sonny Corleone in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone got control of the ball when Txema Cerbera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boguslaw Wydrych recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaur Kapten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Cristofol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Finn Maskell in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hermosillo FC's Tomasz Jajko. Shi Hong Xiao made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Thomas Stenger. Alonzo Cristofol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaur Kapten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Shi Hong Xiao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Cristofol in the 40th minute of play forced Modernians's goalkeeper Kaur Kapten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Hermosillo FC's corner Feliksas Čepulionis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kaur Kapten quite easily take care of the ball. Kaur Kapten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Cristofol's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Sam Lunts short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Sonny Corleone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonzo Cristofol made a kick off. Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txema Cerbera in the 58th minute of play. Hermosillo FC made a substitution. Amuchechukwu McPherson replaced Javier Quentin. When Hermosillo FC's Alonzo Cristofol in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Hermosillo FC's Alonzo Cristofol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaur Kapten was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Txema Cerbera came free, but Sonny Corleone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Sam Lunt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 83 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Txema Cerbera came free, but Sonny Corleone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sam Lunt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sonny Corleone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Stenger in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Cristofol in the 95th minute of play forced Modernians's goalkeeper Kaur Kapten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Modernians lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
