If Quinto Fortea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Quinto Fortea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Universidad de Oriente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 15th minute, Quinto Fortea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Mosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Lorenzo Mosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juarense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Mosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Florencio Colon fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juarense's protests and gave Florencio Colon a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Juarense! Cipriano Belmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Fortea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Juarense booed when Universidad de Oriente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tirso Leiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Universidad de Oriente's Gonzales Adrian pulled a muscle in his leg after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 36 played minutes Juarense got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Enmanuel. Nemesio Urre hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Roque Manzanedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juarense's Cipriano Belmiro didn't even have to move. Cipriano Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinto Fortea in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Universidad de Oriente were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Mosen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Quinto Fortea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cipriano Belmiro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Juarense's Manuel Aznaro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Quinto Fortea made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Belmiro. Juarense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Juarense's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tirso Leiro 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Quinto Fortea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Belmiro having to interfere. A hard shot 70 in the game by Quinto Fortea from a close distance when the talented Cipriano Belmiro managed to make a qualified save. Juarense's players were relieved. Universidad de Oriente's Bitxintxo Pachon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Mosen in the 71st minute of play. Quinto Fortea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Belmiro having to interfere. Manuel Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bitxintxo Pachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Mosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teobaldo Ibon charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Ibon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 83 minutes into the game, one of Juarense:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tirso Leiro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Juarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Urre to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Juarense defense, Quinto Fortea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Belmiro. The Juarense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Belmiro should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Universidad de Oriente's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Mosen came free, but Bitxintxo Pachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Juarense fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Universidad de Oriente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
