To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inge Boll kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bajenland made a substitution. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Keegan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bajenland booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Hamrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Sandberg in the 88th minute of the match. Bajenland were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Skövde AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gottfrid Sandberg took the corner. In the 94th minute, Håkan Arenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Erik Norström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Skövde AIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bajenland's performance. The match ended with a win for Bajenland.
