But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Wallin couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Henning Bennet. The audience was convinced that Kaloyan Mitashev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 62nd match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aqşin Aläkbärov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breannain McNamee in the 66th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The IFK Bajenby supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sundborn IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Sundborn IF.
