In a very dangerous position, a player in Vykans Vikingar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Marcus Ekrot had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Bo-Erik Wallin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Martin Mutumba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Holger Vester came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Mutumba slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Gösta Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Ola Bremming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Fernan Berart from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Holger Vester's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 37th minute of play. If Faas Wilkes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Bremming in the 41st minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Paes in the 45th minute of play. Martin Mutumba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Holger Vester made a huge save. Martin Mutumba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Vester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.
