An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Holmgren in the 2nd minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Vadillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Alvarez in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Apolinar Guijarro hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Belo Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kalle Askberg having to make a save. Ted Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Kaloyan Mitashev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Alcorcón booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Ekström in the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Ted Holmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Wallin came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
