Sten Thedin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wout Weghorst in the 3rd minute of play. After 7 played minutes 1903 Barranspor ☪ got a freekick which was hit by Noel Graça. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Sacit Budak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Mario in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bird FC defense, Wout Weghorst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Thedin. The Bird FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Thedin should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes Bird FC got a freekick which was hit by Marian Tobaczewski. Sacit Budak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taqi Taqi in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goal looked a bit too open when Taqi Taqi came free, but Sacit Budak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wout Weghorst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Thedin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Nathan Preca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacit Budak having to interfere. Wout Weghorst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Wout Weghorst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Thedin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Preca in the 38th minute of play forced 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goalkeeper Sacit Budak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Thedin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wout Weghorst in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Krzysztof Czarnecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wout Weghorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Thedin having to interfere. A collision led to 1903 Barranspor ☪ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tuğrul Yesari hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Wout Weghorst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Thedin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Bird FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 1903 Barranspor ☪ were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taqi Taqi made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mel Chung in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sacit Budak saved 1903 Barranspor ☪ from getting behind. Sacit Budak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Mario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wout Weghorst in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Thedin saved Bird FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute of the match 1903 Barranspor ☪ got a corner. Bird FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ersen Cakir ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edu Gonçalves was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Wensing in the 60th minute of play forced Bird FC's goalkeeper Sten Thedin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Ertuğrul Gazi was substituted for Wout Weghorst. In the 62nd minute, Alexandru Panțâru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ertuğrul Gazi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Thedin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bird FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ertuğrul Gazi was slow to take the kick. During this time 1903 Barranspor ☪'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Noel Graça to fire away a dangerous shot which Sten Thedin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Bird FC defense, Ertuğrul Gazi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Thedin. The Bird FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Thedin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Mario in the 72nd minute of play forced 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goalkeeper Sacit Budak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Czarnecki tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sten Thedin. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 76th minute. Sten Thedin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertuğrul Gazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ertuğrul Gazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ertuğrul Gazi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Thedin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marian Tobaczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bird FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ertuğrul Gazi was slow to take the kick. During this time 1903 Barranspor ☪'s players had a chance to rest. Ersen Cakir made a great header on 1903 Barranspor ☪'s corner, it was just that Bird FC's Sten Thedin managed to reach the ball for a save. Sten Thedin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ertuğrul Gazi went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ertuğrul Gazi in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Thedin saved Bird FC from getting behind.

The 1903 Barranspor ☪ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1903 Barranspor ☪ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
