Thanos Saatsakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin López, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelius Simanjuntak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Robinho in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Giorgos Robinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelius Simanjuntak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgos Neymar hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Giorgos Robinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hektor Fitrakis got free with Cornelius Simanjuntak in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornelius Simanjuntak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hektor Fitrakis in the 25th minute. In the 25th match minute, In-Crivel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Bueno to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, In-Crivel EC's Geraldo Viana got a free kick in the 30th minute. Giorgos Robinho succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Giorgos Robinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cornelius Simanjuntak made a huge save. Giorgos Robinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelius Simanjuntak having to make a save. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by In-Crivel EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Akis Bouzios was slow to take the kick. During this time Cyprus's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cyprus's Akis Bouzios to fire away a dangerous shot which Cornelius Simanjuntak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cornelius Simanjuntak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Robinho in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, In-Crivel EC's goalkeeper Cornelius Simanjuntak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hektor Fitrakis. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 62nd minute Giorgos Robinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelius Simanjuntak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for In-Crivel EC! Cornelius Simanjuntak had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Akis Bouzios's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 67th minute, Giorgos Robinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cyprus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Cyprus's Traian Delas was substituted for Akis Bouzios. Cyprus made a substitution. When Kiko Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored In-Crivel EC's protests and gave Kiko Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hektor Fitrakis in the 76th minute of play forced In-Crivel EC's goalkeeper Cornelius Simanjuntak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hektor Fitrakis in the 86th minute of play forced In-Crivel EC's goalkeeper Cornelius Simanjuntak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelius Simanjuntak came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Cyprus's Epigonoi Honjas. But to his dismay, Epigonoi Honjas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 95 minutes into the game, Aiakos Vardakas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Cornelius Simanjuntak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 98th match minute, In-Crivel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Traian Delas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyprus walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
