Vikingos FC's Marcelo Perico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jose Boldu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zoil Pequeño came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Junior Busquets in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vikingos FC's Alexis Rijkaard. 26 minutes into the game, Regis Padriña threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vikingos FC's Alexis Rijkaard quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zoil Pequeño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Sosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Zoil Pequeño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes, Zoil Pequeño made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Pequeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Perico couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Zoil Pequeño took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sebastián Sosa to make any attempt to save it. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Alejandro Tena replaced Marcelo Perico. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Leobardo Padierna was substituted for Zoil Pequeño. In the 71st match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Busquets to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vikingos FC's zone, Bjørn Ironside stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leobardo Padierna in the 95th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
