Rega Merida CF's Edmund Kojder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonello Messias in the 31st minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Leonello Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Kojder came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Aureliano Karlo. But to his dismay, Aureliano Karlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leonello Messias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Rega Merida CF were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filcho Dzhagarov took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Dawid Beckham slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmund Kojder. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Sârban was the one to do the kick off. Dawid Beckham's late challenge caught a Rega Merida CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dawid Beckham helped the player get up and apologised. Roberto Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Nistor Sârban sent off a good shot on target. Ryan Gravenhorst kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Edmund Kojder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Sârban in the 66th minute of play. With a left leg Roberto Eztebe saved Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ from getting behind. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ were victorious despite being under pressure from Rega Merida CF for much of the match.
