If Asparuh Nikodimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute of the match, Genadi Gotzev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 顾西军 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Igor Vapordzhiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asparuh Nikodimov, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yoan Boboshevski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Vapordzhiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Igor Vapordzhiev made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Dragomir Fúrtunkov sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Igor Vapordzhiev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 顾西军 came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by MIHAEL's Lyudmil Kenov. But to his dismay, Lyudmil Kenov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With an all-out effort, Crusaders of Light's Igor Vapordzhiev threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yoan Boboshevski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 顾西军 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genadi Gotzev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asparuh Nikodimov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Vapordzhiev having to make a save. Igor Vapordzhiev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dragomir Fúrtunkov in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Crusaders of Light's goal looked a bit too open when Deyan Adamski came free, but 顾西军 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoan Boboshevski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Vapordzhiev having to interfere. In the 98th match minute, MIHAEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blagovest Hristanov to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Crusaders of Light's Gerasim Truhchev tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
