In the 6th minute of the match Luís Eduardo Leite shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olaf Koprowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luís Eduardo Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olaf Koprowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Jelte Bleiswijk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PFK Beroe's Olaf Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Tuleshkov in the 11th minute of play. Boncho Hvoynev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. 杜帆思 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CSKA Diamandievo booed when PFK Beroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyan Parlapanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olaf Koprowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Tuleshkov in the 23rd minute of the match. 杜帆思 made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Jelte Bleiswijk sent off a good shot on target. Kiril Lambovski's late challenge caught a CSKA Diamandievo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiril Lambovski helped the player get up and apologised. Kiril Lambovski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Luís Eduardo Leite took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olaf Koprowski. PFK Beroe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Olaf Koprowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Eduardo Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boyan Parlapanski during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PFK Beroe's Boyan Parlapanski got a free kick in the 81st minute. PFK Beroe succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CSKA Diamandievo had controlled the match.
