José Vítor Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Ramsey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Domingues made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mangekyou Sharingan's goal looked a bit too open when Dencho Trizlintzev came free, but Thomás Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sokol Leshkov fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
