After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Neftochimic! After some careless play in the FC Neftochimic defense, Branimir Dragomanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Jan Hoogsteen. The FC Neftochimic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Jan Hoogsteen should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Neftochimic getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gergin Zapryanov hit a great ball. With his leg Dirk Jan Hoogsteen managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Сакарско орехче's Yasen Shipchanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Prokopi Gerov came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Neftochimic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prokopi Gerov couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Сакарско орехче's Yasen Shipchanov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dirk Jan Hoogsteen. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yasen Shipchanov to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Neftochimic's Dirk Jan Hoogsteen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasen Shipchanov in the 53rd minute of play. Prokopi Gerov hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denislav Petrishki in the 55th minute of play forced Сакарско орехче's goalkeeper Omurtag Stoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Neftochimic's Prokopi Gerov got a free kick in the 61st minute. Denislav Petrishki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasen Shipchanov in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denislav Petrishki in the 73rd minute of play forced Сакарско орехче's goalkeeper Omurtag Stoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simo Pigov kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Presiyan Pisev threw the ball into play from the sideline. Omurtag Stoin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Сакарско орехче fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Neftochimic had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
