Dojčin Trpeski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tervel Ivanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC BVLGARI's Tervel Ivanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC BVLGARI from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, FC BVLGARI's goal looked a bit too open when Tase Cvetkovič came free, but Tervel Ivanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janko Kokanov lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 22 minutes into the game, one of VUKOVAR 91:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Matey Nedevski took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Frenzel. Tadeusz Frenzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. VUKOVAR 91's Tadeusz Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matey Nedevski in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Minko Prokopov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, VUKOVAR 91's goal looked a bit too open when Matey Nedevski came free, but Tadeusz Frenzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC BVLGARI booed when VUKOVAR 91 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Marud didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lurtim Gocevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nenko Hristakiev's late challenge caught a VUKOVAR 91's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nenko Hristakiev helped the player get up and apologised. Nenko Hristakiev hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Matey Nedevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC BVLGARI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matey Nedevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half FC BVLGARI were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lurtim Gocevski made a kick off. FC BVLGARI's Tervel Ivanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lurtim Gocevski in the 52nd minute of play. Tervel Ivanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lurtim Gocevski went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, FC BVLGARI's goal looked a bit too open when Lurtim Gocevski came free, but Tervel Ivanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Matey Nedevski suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eşref Kayraalp during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VUKOVAR 91! Kalle Abelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 92nd minute, Tase Cvetkovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeusz Frenzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimcho Vúlchovski in the 98th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC BVLGARI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
