The audience was convinced that Rene Aires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Eyague was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Okanalp Öksal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Okanalp Öksal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peep Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Peep Pronk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Okanalp Öksal. Loco De Remate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peep Pronk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okanalp Öksal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baškim Sumulikovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Rodion Nikitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 45th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Aires to make the kick off. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, one of Loco De Remate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Loco De Remate:s Okanalp Öksal showed great skill when he stopped Rodion Nikitin:s penalty. 54 minutes into the game, Rodion Nikitin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Okanalp Öksal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Okanalp Öksal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Öksal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Aires to maneuver through the defense. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Zeledon Savion replaced Hermenegildo Ventura. Loco De Remate's Feliciano Iratxo was substituted for Delmar Chumo. AC LeX Luthor's Aristide Ciuvică was substituted for Peep Pronk. When Zeledon Savion came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Savion couldn't finish the play. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Hıdır Namal replaced Rene Aires. Bruno Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fulgencio Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Okanalp Öksal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Okanalp Öksal came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by AC LeX Luthor's Rodion Nikitin. But to his dismay, Rodion Nikitin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Okanalp Öksal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC LeX Luthor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
