In the 13th minute Bartolo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Basualdo came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Argentinean Patriots 1816's protests and gave Baldomiro Ospetsu a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Argentinean Patriots 1816 got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Ospetsu. Rodrigo Massó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Argentinean Patriots 1816's Octavio Frederik was substituted for Celestino Acevedo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Basualdo to make the kick off. PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Daunte in the 57th minute of play. A wasted opportunity for Argentinean Patriots 1816. Antonio Orlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Isidoro Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben-Ami Ranchin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Massó prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the game, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Dario Iztal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Massó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Rodrigo Massó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 88th minute of the match. PLUMIN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
