The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. One of CHARLOTTE FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MEME FC:s goal. Belgacem Zouba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelghafour Dhyab charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelghafour Dhyab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Abdelghafour Dhyab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match, Marcel Branco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guido Herrera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, MEME FC's Jaroslaw Tomporowski got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Branco in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Herrera saved CHARLOTTE FC from getting behind. After having played for 41 minutes, Marcel Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEME FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcel Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Herrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcel Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Guido Herrera made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belgacem Zouba to make the kick off. Guido Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Branco in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Marcel Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Herrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 72nd minute Jaroslaw Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fahd Chaib kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes in the game Sofiane Firoud did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abdelghafour Dhyab. Guido Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Branco in the 79th minute of the match. Marcel Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guido Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adir Rahiti kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. MEME FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
