Ferit Çerağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ján Krempašský in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match FC XY got a corner. Vrhpolje United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Slaninka ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Martin Slaninka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vrhpolje United's Ferit Çerağ did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Mirac in the 16th minute of play forced Vrhpolje United's goalkeeper Ferit Çerağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes FC XY got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Ilko. Miroslav Motuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarik Ožir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orhan Veli Mirac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferit Çerağ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match FC XY got a corner. Vrhpolje United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Slaninka ran over to the corner to take the kick. Martin Buday made a great header on FC XY's corner, it was just that Vrhpolje United's Ferit Çerağ managed to reach the ball for a save. Ján Krempašský's late challenge caught a Vrhpolje United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ján Krempašský helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vrhpolje United booed when FC XY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ján Krempašský didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC XY getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Velko Belovezhdov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihangir Kuyas in the 35th minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, FC XY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Slaninka to maneuver through the defense. Lu Xuan Lei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Motuz having to interfere. Orhan Veli Mirac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferit Çerağ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vrhpolje United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Slaninka was slow to take the kick. During this time FC XY's players had a chance to rest. Martin Buday hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Orhan Veli Mirac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferit Çerağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Veli Mirac in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gabriel Ižvolt made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Vrhpolje United's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli Mirac came free, but Ferit Çerağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes Vrhpolje United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Slaninka who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Martin Lukáč managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. FC XY's Antón Macejko was substituted for Vern Bird. 60 minutes into the match, FC XY's Orhan Veli Mirac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferit Çerağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vrhpolje United's goalkeeper Ferit Çerağ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC XY were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Vrhpolje United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Slaninka took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Antón Macejko drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Vrhpolje United's goalkeeper. After 87 played minutes Vrhpolje United got a freekick which was hit by Cihangir Kuyas. Ferit Çerağ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Daniel Pavlovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Çerağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC XY had won after a very even match.
