The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krystian Mecit during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Petro Atlético got a freekick which was hit by Krystian Mecit. 29 minutes into the match, NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Strugure came free, but Jesper Hellgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Iordache Strugure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Gavin made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Burns Willding sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute Nuno Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marko Valcarce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Gavin was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Žarko Trobec in the 39th minute of play forced Petro Atlético's goalkeeper Daniel Gavin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Valcarce to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Burns Willding nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Gavin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Szczepan Joks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jesper Hellgren made a huge save. A collision led to Petro Atlético getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Magno Bastos hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Marko Valcarce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gavin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Valcarce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesper Hellgren came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Petro Atlético's Nuno Mendes. But to his dismay, Nuno Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Marko Valcarce got a free kick in the 70th minute. NK AvtoBUM Kočevje made a substitution. Ryan Giggs replaced Ferdo Arnšek. Daniel Gavin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burns Willding in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Petro Atlético's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Valcarce came free, but Daniel Gavin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burns Willding in the 86th minute of play forced Petro Atlético's goalkeeper Daniel Gavin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burns Willding took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Gavin. Daniel Gavin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 94 minutes into the match, NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Mendes came free, but Jesper Hellgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. NK AvtoBUM Kočevje had won after a very even match.
