Zico Zellier might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Latif Al Fakir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zico Zellier ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Latif Al Fakir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 minutes Galatasaray SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Kolyshko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Zico Zellier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray SK's Latif Al Fakir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Latif Al Fakir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Perrone in the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Máximo Perrone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Latif Al Fakir was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Latif Al Fakir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Máximo Perrone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Latif Al Fakir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. GuateFortín were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Galatasaray SK for a fine match.
