The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Goiz got free with Ruperto Roland in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Atletico Saladillo FC's Ruperto Roland got control of the ball when Luiz Paulo Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manotham Grandessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Calvino in the 15th minute of play.
