Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Hug in the 3rd minute of the match. Ruperto Roland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Silvino went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ruperto Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski got control of the ball when Eugenio Calvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Saladillo FC's zone, Mauro Silvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Roland came out of the goal and Mauro Silvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Calvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Arendarski was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karol Borowski in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Roland saved Atletico Saladillo FC from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Borowski came free, but Ruperto Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half C. A. Potrero were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Borowski in the 52nd minute of play forced Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Ruperto Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Corderro in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Borowski in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Roland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karol Borowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ruperto Roland made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Mauro Silvino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emil Arendarski came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Saladillo FC's Gabriel Corderro. But to his dismay, Gabriel Corderro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. C. A. Potrero's Wladyslaw Popowicz was substituted for Pastor Montrell. A collision led to Atletico Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Severo Lorenz hit a great ball. Ruperto Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 85th minute of play. Karol Borowski hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Borowski came free, but Ruperto Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Severo Lorenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Saladillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Potrero the free kick. 95 minutes into the match, Karol Borowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruperto Roland. Atletico Saladillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Borowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Atletico Saladillo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C. A. Potrero's performance. The match ended with a win for C. A. Potrero.
