Eloy Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoff Stocks in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Aureliano Karlo could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Eloy Mazuste however easily saved by the left post. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Hyska in the 28th minute of the match. Aureliano Karlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Eloy Mazuste made a huge save. In the 33rdth minute of the game Christoff Stocks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Dawid Beckham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Mazuste was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Aureliano Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Mazuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Staffelbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
