In the 20th match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Beniamin Wielowiejski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Tadeusz Traczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamin Wielowiejski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Luiz Xavier took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Traczewski. Tadeusz Traczewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When André Luiz Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the KS Ruch Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luiz Xavier couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ajax players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KS Ruch Chorzów.
