The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nik Glyrskov to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, lyptus's Thorkild Falshøj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denny Mullan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. James Warnett hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Thorkild Falshøj came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the lyptus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorkild Falshøj couldn't finish the play. Denny Mullan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nik Glyrskov in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nantwich eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
