The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lars Hammeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Gustad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janich Sodborg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EMhawks's CJ Bale got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Posadzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of EMhawks booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qu Fan Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Fanøe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felix Fanøe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janich Sodborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Hammeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Qu Fan Yang made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by EMhawks's Thomas Berg. In the 32nd minute, EMhawks's Lars Hammeren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Janich Sodborg. Janich Sodborg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Strib Galacticos IF's Qu Fan Yang quite brazenly broke a throw-in by CJ Bale, made in the 37th minute of the game. Herbert Posadzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Fanøe in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Felix Fanøe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Posadzki was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

EMhawks's Aksel Røyrvik was substituted for Christian Risnes. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Hammeren made a kick off. Strib Galacticos IF's Janich Sodborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Hammeren in the 52nd minute of play. Herbert Posadzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Fanøe in the 54th minute of the match. Jim Gustad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Fanøe got free with Herbert Posadzki in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janich Sodborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Gustad, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Herbert Posadzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mads Aarum in the 70th minute of the match. Pedro Nyaa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Pedro Nyaa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Posadzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Lars Hammeren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Strib Galacticos IF's Joel Tehas was substituted for Johnny Eliasen. Strib Galacticos IF made a substitution. Peter Östensson replaced Alin Sima. Herbert Posadzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mads Aarum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EMhawks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Mads Aarum scored to the left of an out of position Herbert Posadzki, making the score, 1-2. The throw-in from Liu Hong Chong in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Strib Galacticos IF's Robbin Moreaux. Mads Aarum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Gustad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Lars Hammeren managed to get in a good position for a shot. EMhawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Hammeren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janich Sodborg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, EMhawks's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Fanøe came free, but Herbert Posadzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The EMhawks supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Strib Galacticos IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Strib Galacticos IF.
