Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Alderson in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black horses's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruben Sheehan was slow to take the kick. During this time Greenbay's players had a chance to rest. Kristiāns Princāns tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Valdis Felbergs. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Alderson in the 30th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Swierczok came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdis Felbergs was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Will Alderson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Valdis Felbergs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 52 minutes into the game, Black horses's Jakub Swierczok nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harvey Davies made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 56th minute Jakub Swierczok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Morrell. After some careless play in the Greenbay defense, Andžs Redzobs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harvey Davies. The Greenbay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harvey Davies should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Black horses's Cipriano Sauveur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harvey Davies narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Cipriano Sauveur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Harvey Davies was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Sheehan got free with Valdis Felbergs in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Cipriano Sauveur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Sauveur in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sauveur came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdis Felbergs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Weber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Sheehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Valdis Felbergs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Cipriano Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Black horses had won after a very even match.
