Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelino Baumer started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Ritchie came free, but Anastasio Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Yin Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güney Mengüalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güney Mengüalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yin Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Ritchie. 16 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goalkeeper Güney Mengüalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Baumer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Ritchie in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Janpier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Baumer got free with Güney Mengüalp in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Arrecifes booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Sotil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Cirilo Ritchie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Janpier. Marlin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cirilo Ritchie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arrecifes's Güney Mengüalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yin Yang in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Jeronimo Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Laurendi in the 42nd minute of play. Arrecifes's Kevin De Bruyne managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeronimo Sotil in the 46 minute of the game. The Marlin FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arrecifes were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Ritchie to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Isidoro Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hipolito Laurendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrecifes's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Laurendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Janpier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cirilo Ritchie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Anastasio Janpier made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cirilo Ritchie sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrecifes's goalkeeper Güney Mengüalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Felipe Senon took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Anastasio Janpier to make any attempt to save it. Felipe Senon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The Arrecifes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
