Leandro Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor Mainer in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Alebeck. In the 9th minute, Enzo Díaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Teixeira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. The referee gave Achtung Babies a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Torsten Norberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bermejo Club's Leandro Munio. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Bermejo Club's Fredrik Alebeck got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Achtung Babies defense, Fredrik Alebeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Velloso. The Achtung Babies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Velloso should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Bermejo Club's Fredrik Alebeck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Eurico Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Alebeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, Haroldo Menendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes Bermejo Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Torsten Norberg who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Achtung Babies getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Selami Bilgen hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Selami Bilgen fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. Bermejo Club's Cosme Janpier was substituted for Fredrik Alebeck. After a rather tough play, Bermejo Club's Feliberto Tauro got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosme Janpier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Cosme Janpier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Eurico Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Achtung Babies's Jeremy White got a free kick in the 65th minute. Achtung Babies's Kobi Usabiaga was substituted for Héctor Mainer. Jeremy White hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Bruno Guillelme fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achtung Babies's protests and gave Bruno Guillelme a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Achtung Babies got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Guillelme. Cosme Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eurico Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Janpier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Cosme Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bermejo Club had played much better football throughout.
