In the 13th minute Xurupita FC were awarded a corner. Agnaldo de Senna went to the cornerflag to take it. Agnaldo de Senna made a great header on Xurupita FC's corner, it was just that Atlético Cristo Rei's Alfredão Bueno managed to reach the ball for a save. Joseph Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Bueno having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goal looked a bit too open when Karni Yair came free, but Alfredão Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Xurupita FC got a corner. Atlético Cristo Rei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agnaldo de Senna ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Humberto Secco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredão Bueno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jarbas Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pendekar Bödör in the 28th minute of play. Alfredão Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ange Garrec in the 30th minute of play. Xurupita FC's Jarbas Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pendekar Bödör in the 32nd minute of play. Joseph Kellbom took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão Bueno. Alfredão Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 45 minutes into the game, Karni Yair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alfredão Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Cunha to make the kick off. Alfredão Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ange Garrec's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Jarbas Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pendekar Bödör in the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ange Garrec kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredão Bueno. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. Jarbas Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo de Senna in the 61st minute of play forced Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Alfredão Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ange Garrec dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredão Bueno, 0-5. Atlético Cristo Rei's Alfredão Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Cristo Rei from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Xurupita FC's Joseph Kellbom ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredão Bueno. Alfredão Bueno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 73 minutes into the game, Xurupita FC's Karni Yair nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredão Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 76 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Kellbom came free, but Alfredão Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorian Freire hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alfredão Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karni Yair went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute Ange Garrec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ange Garrec in the 83rd minute of play forced Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Alfredão Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agnaldo de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agnaldo de Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnaldo de Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agnaldo de Senna hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Atlético Cristo Rei fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Xurupita FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
