Joseph Kellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Agnaldo de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. Galo do Japi were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Xurupita FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Númi Fode took the corner. The corner ended in Númi Fode almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xurupita FC's Jarbas Pimenta did a great save. Jarbas Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sócrates Silva in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Pimenta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sokratis Krak. 21 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Karni Yair came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarbas Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Númi Fode sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ange Garrec in the 26th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Ange Garrec came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarbas Pimenta stood somewhat misplaced when Sócrates Silva came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. In the 36th minute, Ange Garrec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karni Yair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Joseph Kellbom made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Ceni. Galo do Japi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

Xurupita FC's Jarbas Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Lara in the 52nd minute of play. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karni Yair in the 54th minute of the match. Jarbas Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Krak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Cléberson Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sokratis Krak came free, but Jarbas Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Xurupita FC's Rogério Ceni threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ange Garrec, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Eriberto de Souza got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Galo do Japi made a substitution. Atilla Açıkalın replaced Númi Fode. Eriberto de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Karni Yair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save.
