Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastião Furtado kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, Vila Mascote FC's Hermínio Meireles made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eurico Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 5th minute Nuno do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Arantes came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Mascote FC's Magno Vaz. But to his dismay, Magno Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubens Monteiro got free with Fabricio Lawrence in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eurico Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno do Nascimento in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Hermínio Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila Mascote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Vaz in the 18th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Eurico Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vila Mascote FC's Magno Vaz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GLADIADORES's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 minutes, Magno Vaz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eurico Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Nuno do Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Eurico Arantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eurico Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Meireles's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Hermínio Meireles put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Eurico Arantes. Magno Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Nuno do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Mascote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 40 minutes into the game, Vila Mascote FC's Nuno do Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eurico Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After the first half Vila Mascote FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nuno do Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. Eurico Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Vaz came free, but Eurico Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Arantes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Eurico Arantes stood somewhat misplaced when Alfredo Arcos came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 66 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila Mascote FC's Hermínio Meireles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eurico Arantes. That made the score 0-10 after 71 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grady Esposito got free with Eurico Arantes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermínio Meireles scored 0-11 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurico Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Hermínio Meireles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eurico Arantes. The goal made the score 0-12. In the 83rd match minute, Vila Mascote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Katritsis to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Eurico Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grady Esposito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
