Arthur Bufi made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Rogelio Roldan sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Arthur Bufi threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 武强弘, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute, Juan Pablo Sorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Bufi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Telmo Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Telmo Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Bufi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Telmo Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 played minutes EngTULIO&Tupipano got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Moraes. Svetlozar Karamihov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Friend in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Duarte Félix hit a great ball. When Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Brock Friend in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Moraes got free with Arthur Bufi in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gildo Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. 余永川 replaced Brock Friend. After a rather tough play, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Gildo Meireles got a free kick in the 35th minute. Karl-Johan Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Bufi having to interfere. In the 39th minute, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Telmo Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Moraes got free with Arthur Bufi in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Ramón Aguiar replaced Wágner Torres. 60 minutes into the game, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Karl-Johan Kjellqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Bufi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Duarte Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Cristi Saron was substituted for Juan Pablo Sorin. In the 67th minute, Iuri Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, EngTULIO&Tupipano's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Félix came free, but Svetlozar Karamihov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 武强弘 in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gong Fan to maneuver through the defense. EngTULIO&Tupipano's Svetlozar Karamihov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save EngTULIO&Tupipano from getting a goal against them. If Duarte Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when 武强弘 came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
