A nice corner shot did that Célio Fontes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tor Echegoyen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 40thth minute of the game Amado Froila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Fontes came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Celso Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Echegoyen having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivo Simões to make the kick off. With his leg Tor Echegoyen managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lobo Zornoza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute, Ivo Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chute de Ouro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Juvenal Sergipano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 66 minutes, Eric Simion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chute de Ouro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Simion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Simion took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Sergipano. The coaching staff of Chute de Ouro FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfonso Senio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 87th minute, one of Chute de Ouro FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chute de Ouro FC. Tor Echegoyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Juvenal Sergipano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Simion went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Chute de Ouro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
