After 3 played minutes CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Célio Fontes. Dominik Piglowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Juvenal Sergipano made a huge save. Alfredinho Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Juvenal Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lobo Zornoza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juvenal Sergipano was a little too slow when Dominik Piglowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Fontes in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lobo Zornoza in the 23rd minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Loureiro came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lobo Zornoza. But to his dismay, Lobo Zornoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marcel Reis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Célio Fontes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yuri Loureiro. Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dominik Piglowskis short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Juvenal Sergipano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Tande in the 36th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's Alfredinho Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juvenal Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Lobo Zornoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Piglowskis short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Juvenal Sergipano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lobo Zornoza in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. Atlético Minuano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Célio Fontes ran over to the corner to take the kick. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Minuano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Célio Fontes was slow to take the kick. During this time CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's players had a chance to rest.

With a little luck, Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro got control of the ball when Célio Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Aparecido in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Lobo Zornoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Célio Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yuri Loureiro. That made the score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th minute Alfredinho Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Fernado hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Brian Johnson was substituted for Lobo Zornoza. Atlético Minuano's Mathias Ortiz was substituted for Alfredinho Aparecido. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Clemente Zanussi was substituted for Thomás Borges. The supporters of Atlético Minuano booed when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Atlético Minuano fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Atlético Minuano's Mathias Ortiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute, Mathias Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuri Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Minuano from getting a goal against them. Nicolas Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Sergipano having to interfere. In the 86th minute Brian Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Brian Johnson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yuri Loureiro. That made the score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. Yuri Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Célio Fontes sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
