Carlos Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Addison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Carlos Velasco could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Aurel Mușetescu however easily saved by the left post. Adriano Alagoano made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jaime Moreno immediately put the ball in play. Zé Carlos Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carlos Fernando Silva fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IGUIPORÃ FC's protests and gave Carlos Fernando Silva a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Carlos Fernando Silva got a free kick in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Eric Hjortsberg made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Excelência de Luxe's Don Eladio got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Eric Hjortsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Mușetescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Hjortsberg took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurel Mușetescu. Aurel Mușetescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Leonardo Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Carioca having to make a save. IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. 谢云伟 replaced Emiel Franckx. IGUIPORÃ FC's Luiz Paulo Chaves was substituted for Eric Hjortsberg. IGUIPORÃ FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Excelência de Luxe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Moreno took the corner. After taking down the ball on IGUIPORÃ FC's corner Jaime Moreno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurel Mușetescu quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Goiano in the 88th minute of play forced Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper Aurel Mușetescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Cavalcante in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Chaves in the 94th minute of play forced Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper Aurel Mușetescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Excelência de Luxe's Evandro de Toledo got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jaime Moreno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurel Mușetescu. Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. IGUIPORÃ FC had won after a very even match.
