Adrian Mutu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Leite having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Braga Junior FC's Giuseppe Leite threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Mutu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brickeen Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Daunte in the 22nd minute of play. Agnaldo Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brickeen Wall having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goalkeeper Giuseppe Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Mutu. Brickeen Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Eger in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Braga Junior FC's Adrian Mutu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 32 minutes into the game, Braga Junior FC's Adrian Mutu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giuseppe Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Enginalp Kayaalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when César Moreira came free, but Brickeen Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Conrado Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Berart, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Mutu made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Adrian Mutu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe Leite. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Mutu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 55 minutes into the game, Braga Junior FC's Adrian Mutu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giuseppe Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Adrian Mutu took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe Leite. Giuseppe Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Mutu came free, but Giuseppe Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Cornelio Daunte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Brickeen Wall made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Adrian Mutu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giuseppe Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Mutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute of the match Braga Junior FC got a corner. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cido Araújo ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Braga Junior FC's Adrian Mutu in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Braga Junior FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
