The audience thought a goal was coming when Pontus Ligers got free with Wachirapong Wattanachinda in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Igor de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dé Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Sandoval in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canarinho Atordoado's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
