Real Cobrinha FR's Décio Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Real Cobrinha FR from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Real Cobrinha FR's Décio Rezende got control of the ball when Geovanni Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Leme got free with Décio Rezende in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Colognese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Baptista came free, but Alfredinho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Décio Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Casado in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Real Cobrinha FR fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Real Cobrinha FR's Zé Pedro Baptista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
