Renan Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renan Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Silva in the 10th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vinícius Servaes sped through Matanza and Steelers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renan Mendes. Renan Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Aaron Tello made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vinícius Servaes made the kick off in the second half. If Vinícius Servaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Marvin Salamanca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 70th minute Matanza and Steelers were awarded a corner. Renan Correia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Renan Correia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni did a great save. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Salamanca in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Leysus Oktavianus came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vinícius Servaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Servaes in the 78th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Willian Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matanza and Steelers's Wiliam Peixoto was substituted for César Lucas. The audience was convinced that Vinícius Servaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Mendes was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. José Paulo Mattos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Christian Antonelli fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamante Negro DK - VV's protests and gave Christian Antonelli a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Antonelli kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
