Clube Audax Metropolitano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Leysus Oktavianus scored to the left of an out of position Santo Lano, making the score, 1-2. After 21 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Haisenberg Dolar made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 26 minutes, Haisenberg Dolar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Audax Metropolitano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haisenberg Dolar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Shi Ying Jian notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes. Renan Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjørn Ironside, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strahinja Sekulić hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Haisenberg Dolar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haisenberg Dolar in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Mendes saved Matanza and Steelers from getting behind. If Marvin Salamanca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Haisenberg Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haisenberg Dolar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Tello to make the kick off. Santo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvin Salamanca in the 51st minute of the match. Matanza and Steelers were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Clube Audax Metropolitano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renan Correia took the corner. The corner ended in Marvin Salamanca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano did a great save. Santo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 59th minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leysus Oktavianus in the 60th minute of play. Matanza and Steelers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renan Correia in the 62nd minute. Renan Correia made a great header on Matanza and Steelers's corner, it was just that Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute of the match, Bjørn Ironside got a very nice opportunity to score, but Renan Mendes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Bjørn Ironside cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Renan Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Fasgar to maneuver through the defense. Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renan Correia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clube Audax Metropolitano:s Santo Lano showed great skill when he stopped Aaron Tello:s penalty. Santo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvin Salamanca in the 86th minute of the match. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Renan Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Netto's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When Clube Audax Metropolitano's Eriberto Netto in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matanza and Steelers's goalie prevented a goal. Santo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 94th minute of the match. The Clube Audax Metropolitano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clube Audax Metropolitano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
