Moisés Matorin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Faustão Ramalho hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruninho Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faustão Ramalho made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Palestra do Interior's Eugênio Alagoano. Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Franklin do Nascimento 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. The Palestra do Interior fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samurai Champions FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
