The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the CADU de Zarate defense, Eduardo Quinito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Astigar. The CADU de Zarate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Astigar should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute Paulo Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Baumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Lander hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The La luz del Lider ❤ fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when La luz del Lider ❤'s Eduardo Quinito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bruno Baumar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dhritiman Judge, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Andres Lander came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Baumar could save by the left post. CADU de Zarate were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after La luz del Lider ❤'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hector Reno took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Marciano Maria drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind La luz del Lider ❤'s goalkeeper. With a little luck, La luz del Lider ❤'s Bruno Baumar got control of the ball when Paulo Dominix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Baumar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Davis in the 32nd minute. Bruno Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, CADU de Zarate's Dhritiman Judge dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Lander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fernan Polbin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Baumar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Bruno Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Lander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Fernan Polbin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Baumar. La luz del Lider ❤'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernan Polbin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 64th minute, Paulo Dominix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CADU de Zarate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 68th minute, Dhritiman Judge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Baumar was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Bruno Baumar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Lander, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dominix in the 74th minute of play forced La luz del Lider ❤'s goalkeeper Bruno Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. CADU de Zarate's Hector Reno got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the CADU de Zarate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
