Spectators: 140 (Terracing: 106, Seating: 32, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodosio Lop started the match with the kick off. Crişan Taffarel came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Zabaleta's Herminio Cresconio. But to his dismay, Herminio Cresconio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Manuel Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Guib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Ignado in the 10th minute. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Zabaleta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Esteban Ignado was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciclista FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ciclista FC's Esteban Ignado to fire away a dangerous shot which Arturo Guib despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. La Zabaleta's Ramiq Muradov got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Benedetto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Zabaleta's Arturo Guib proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save La Zabaleta from getting a goal against them. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Cresconio in the 30th minute of play. Crişan Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Ånger scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Crişan Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaac Naelio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Ånger in the 44th minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Castel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the La Zabaleta defense, Manuel Hug kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Guib. The La Zabaleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Guib should have stopped the shot. Claudio Castel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Crişan Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Baxter's late challenge caught a Ciclista FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Baxter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Alfred Baxter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crişan Taffarel was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Ramiq Muradov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiq Muradov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Teodosio Lop received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Crişan Taffarel came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodosio Lop slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 72nd minute. Manuel Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arturo Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Zabaleta's zone, Manuel Hug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Guib came out of the goal and Manuel Hug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiq Muradov came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When La Zabaleta's Ramiq Muradov, in the 81st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for La Zabaleta. Amancio Vedillo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiq Muradov in the 90th minute of play. Amancio Vedillo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Ciclista FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Zabaleta's performance. The match ended with a win for La Zabaleta.
