The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Prejun during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Kakeros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Prejun to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Eloy Betadur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Michalski in the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Gwidon Michalski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yupandú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Francisc Ozon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nicanor Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yupandú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Aragones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Francisc Ozon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Montez. Gerardo Matai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisc Ozon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Yupandú FC's Francisc Ozon got control of the ball when Jorge Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Matai to make the kick off. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nemesio Cordaryal hit a great ball. Francisc Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Montez in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Gerardo Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 62nd minute of the match Ovidio Jon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ovidio Jon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 63 played minutes Kakeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Sayveon. Francisc Ozon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Montez in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Kakeros FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jorge Montez hit a great ball. Faustino Rencio made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gwidon Michalski sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Rencio having to interfere. Faustino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Michalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kakeros FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Gwidon Michalski scored to the left of an out of position Faustino Rencio, making the score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Cordaryal in the 81st minute of play forced Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Alvaro Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Kakeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Sayveon. Eloy Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yupandú FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
